3 small recurrences removed so looks like the Mitomycin did not work.
Now want me to have 6 week course of
Epirubicin instillations to try and stop recurrences.
The only good news is that the histology is the same low grade NMI. But the fact this mitomycin hasn't worked it's becoming a pain now.
I can't wait for another 6 week course of being poked tbh I'm raring to go honestly.
Also had a good check for CIS but none found so that's summat I guess.
Still can't tell me a reason why I needed the catheter in other than possibly consultsnt preference to reduce risk of blood clots.
So yeah it's the gift that keeps on giving currently, and zero financial help for all the money I'm losing constantly having time off work.
Sending out some info on this drug/side effects and then a call in a couple of weeks to schedule dates if I wish to go ahead with that.
Hi Simon. Sorry to hear the MMC did not work and you are back on the treadmill. We don't come across epirubicin on here so not much knowledge of it. Hopefully this is the one to do the trick for you. Best wishes with it.
Dear Simon,
I'm very sorry to hear this except for feeling that someone seems to be getting a handle on things at last. It must be hard re work too. I hope they are sympathetic, though that won't pay the bills, I know.
I hope someone on here can give you a steer about the proposed new treatment.
All the best,

Shit happens I'm afraid. Just have to go with the flow. Work seem semi helpful apart from me losing money off course. I reckon I'm knocking on the door of 2.5k after tax in losses currently in what a year and 4 months or so since my first turbt.
Good job I earn enough for it to not be a problem at the moment. But I can ill afford to keep losing money constantly that's for sure.
It's really becoming a pest now that's for sure. Maybe if be better off getting the rat catchers in to get rid of it

Pronounced Ethrubacin even though it is spelt nothing like it so I'm gonna use a Ethrubacin as it's easier to spell in future

And

So now got more antibiotics to go collect although not really having any toilet issues now.
Just wonderful never had any urine infections in my life until now and one deffo caused by the catheter by sounds of it after mother has googled them both.

Hope you don't mind but it reminds me of Spike Milligan who wanted 'I told you I was ill' on his tombstone - his family obliged (later on).
Of course that's not to say you are in any way needing a slab of granite just yet!
Hope the drugs get you back in top form very quickly.

The issue is now I finally got a result I don't have any symptoms now of an infection. I'll take the antibiotics mind I've been given just to make sure it's gone started them today. So fingers crossed I'll be back to somewhat normal now for a bit.
