Evening all,

A month before this round of BCG I was exercising regularly and eating well, this led to me sleeping well and feeling good.

fast forward to now, I’ve stopped all exercise and am eating like a pig…I ate so much tonight I actually threw up. Why do I do it?

angry with myself….

sorry for the rant..

Nigel xx

  • I am sending you a big hug. I know you will get through it Nigel, and it is a horrible feeling. Try your best not to feed the anxiety with worrying thoughts. you have been overdoing it my friend . Remember to do some breathing exercises, it isnt an instant cure but helps reduce the anxiety and not let it build. How is Mrs Nigel ?Have you tried your headspace app yet ?

    Much love Angela x

    1. I know that one... don't beat yourself up. Just try to get back on track even if only partially.  It is interesting how our emotions can fluctuate so wildly along with our coping abilities. You are absolutely NOT alone (not even at 3 a.m. or 5 a.m. because I am certainly wide awake and fretting in those early hours). Plenty of us experiencing these horrible ups and downs.... I hope you feel more positive soon.
  • Hi mate,

Just Ditto on what everyone else has said.

You're going through the treatment again, so although you're coping well with the treatment it does play on the brain for sure. Acts as a daily reminder.

I was doing 10k steps a day, up until my last biopsy. I got to 85 consecutive day's and struggling getting back on it now, so it's not just you. I will get back on it and so will you.

    Wishing you all the best.

    Take care.

  • Cheers Trevor mate…. We can do this…all of us…

  • Angela, just put a new post out… I think it’s the tablets

  • Ah thanks Angela,

Hope all is well with you.

My BCG is being delayed until November, not sure I'll have any more unless I get a reoccurrence.

Still all is good for the time being and thanks for the virtual hug, sending one back.

    Take care.
