6 weeks of mitomycin starting on 27th August at 12 noon. Yey lucky me
Hi Simon. Good luck with it. Hope it goes smoothly for you. Best wishes
Hi Simon, hope all goes well with mitomycin. My BC came back 4 times (at least) during my BCG treatment but all clear for past 4 years so keep the faith. Sending love Hx
Hi Simon
I responded really well to it last year
No real side effects to speak of
Certainly none to complain about, compared to my friend who is having chemo for breast cancer and is so so ill
I feel extremely lucky I didn't have to go through that and could receive it directly into the bladder without the sickness, hair loss and all the other side effects she is having
Good luck and I hope it goes well
Much love Tina x
Round 1 done just waiting to go home now. To say it wasn't pleasant is an understatement and boy did I have to have to take deep breaths in and out. But I got through it and will get through the next 5 I guess.
But I get 3 months free parking at the hospital lucky me

Every Wednesday for the next 5 weeks is going to be a day im not particularly fond of.
I'm rewriting "I don't like Mondays" by the boomtown rats to "I don't like Wednesdays"

I'll keep you in my prayers extra extra Wednesday so you don't have as hard a time with the treatments. Also hope they get rid of this dreadful cancer. My heart goes out to you Simon. Look for you on here again soon. How are you doing after your first treatment?
Fine now feel ok, haven't been the loo yet very shortly so see how that goes and how the waterworks are for next couple of days. Thankfully most people experience very minor side effects with chemo into the bladder. Said I could maybe feel a bit fatigued for a couple of days, but tbh I feel knackered and fatigued most days anyway.
So shall see how I go not back at work til sat night so I've got a couple of days to move around if I want too.
