Morning Garviv. Relatively calm and dry here at the moment. Good thing about January is Spoons reduce the beer prices. I paid £1.29 a pint last night. I also got a spoons voucher for my birthday, so sorted for the month. I hope you get your flexi date soon. Good luck with the holiday plans. Best wishes.

Alas I'm being prodded about on Friday as the buggers will be knocking me out and will be taking more samples.

£1.29 a pint very jealous.. I popped out for a pint or two of Guinness yesterday which came to about £5.00 a pint... I think I need to move closer to a spoons.

Hello Angela, an added bonus today. Grabbed our bus passes and took the bus into Preston, waited 20 minutes in a Santander queue did our transaction and came home. I know, overcome with excitement. SIL was seen by a Renal consultant today who cancelled the infusion and changed her post cancer medication and her BP tablets.She was given three blood sample sleeves and told the Hospital would contact her when to have blood tests. Let’s hope the changed medication works. She saw the consultant at 10.00 am but when Mrs Garviv spoke to her Sister at noon she had forgotten what the consultant had said. So Sad! We don't know if her confusion and memory problems were highlighted. I will contact the Hospital waiting list if I have no appointment letter by Friday. Garviv x

Glad your SIL saw a consultant specialist, hopefully it will get better for her. Has she had memory issues long ? I get brain fog with the long covid , it comes and goes , very frustrating. memory loss is so sad though . take care friend
