Hi all
Having my flexible Cystoscopy tomorrow, 3 months after removal of small area of recurrence in September. The MDT decided no Mitomycin C after that, just follow up check.
I'm naturally feeling a bit anxious although thankfully no where near as bad as after my initial Cystoscopy/diagnosis back in January. I say this to give encouragement to others starting out on this journey.
I guess back in July (first check up after Turbt#1 and 6 weeks Mitomycin C) I fully expected a recurrence- that is was only 1 very small area was a relief. This time I'm hoping that there is nothing and that the team were correct with no chemo following Turbt#2. So I'm weirdly more nervous ? Anyway whatever it is there will be a plan.
Been a very bad year for family, first me and then my brother diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (unfortunately progressing fast) and 2 weeks ago had to lose my devoted Cocker Spaniel of 14 years Babs.
Anyway and a happy festive season to all on the forum
Jane

Much love Angela x
Hi Jane, fingers crossed for you tomorrow. But as you say whatever the outcome there will be a plan. I’ve had 4 reoccurrences but thanks to my team I’m still trucking on 7 years since my diagnosis. xx so sorry to hear your brother has such a devastating diagnosis, and huge sympathies on the loss of your beloved Babs. Two years in to my cancer journey I decided to get a new puppy. He was just the spark of joy I needed and been a blessing ever since. Sending best wishes H xx
We have a new girl - Stella a 12 week old cocker. We were always going to get another as my lab Ava needs a companion. A series of coincidences meant she was available and although a bit quicker than expected it felt right. Stella is a bundle of energy and affection and certainly a distraction from the BC.
Thank you
Jane x
Update - all clear ! Next check 3 months
Thank you for all the good wishes x
