Hi, just an update to say I'm having my first dose of BCG Immunotherapy today. Bit apprehensive about it but having read some of you lovely people's previous posts, I'm feeling a bit more positive.
Was wondering if anybody has had any dental work while having the treatment?
Broke a piece off a tooth the other day and need a filling. I did speak to my nurse clinician yesterday and she says it should be OK to visit the dentist.
Hope you all have a good day
Anne x
Hi Anne , wishing you all the best with your BCG today. I have recorded my experience in my profile if you wanted to have a look. Just had my 10th on Tuesday and resting up for a couple of days. Keep in touch, there are many of us on here having BCG at the moment, all with different experience to share.
Much love Angela x
Hi Anne
Welcome to the BCG club ️. I've had my third instillation on Monday. I stayed at the hospital for 2 hours with the first one, but it's 15 minutes in the clinic for the next ones. I've found it's a very quick and painless process. Best of wishes to you.
Love Ade xx
Oh Angela number 10, wow, hope you are feeling OK, sometimes you get to that stage where you think I ve had enough but only 2 more to go isn't it and then a good rest. Amazing so glad you are getting through them x
