Hi all hope everyone keeping well x I had my cystoscopy on Monday morning thankfully all clear but the doctor took 3 attempts to put catheter in so was bit painful ...I've had bit of pain left side and a little when urinating but I've been trying to flush with lots of water ..this morning I had very cloudy urine tested it with my test strips and could see trace of blood so I called 111 doctor phoned me and prescribed antibiotics which I picked up lunch time .. is this something that can happen with a cystoscopy as ice had a few and also 12 bcg treatments but never had problems before x thanks x
We couldn't have a wake so my sister and her family went to her home and my family came to us ...it was sad really as my mother had many friends who had to stand outside the crematorium to pay respects as only 30 people allowed in at that time ..they told us we couldn't sing but I was determined to sing the hymns my mother loved ..it meant so much to me .. this is so terrible to deal with my heart goes out to you xx take care Jane xx
I really felt for you when your mother died and Covid made it so much harder for you and your family.I don’t know yet how many people will be coming to mum’s funeral but they all have to travel some distance.I’m hoping I have found a nice country pub for afterwards. There are three that look promising but this one does cater for small weddings and wakes.Love Jane xx
So feel for that experience you had, my mum was an only child and my dad had one rather younger really super brother. My aunt, his wife, dies a few months before covid. For her we had a wonderful celebration with my husband and daughter able to come, we travelled with daughter from St Pancras on and back too. Scroll forward to early last summer and my beloved only uncle then died, same crematorium, same pub. But my poor cousin had to call me to say only I could fit into the 30. So off I went all alone from Derbyshire to Surrey and back. So sad for my husband and daughter as they only ever get to meet my side of the family at funerals and it really would not have added to the risk to have had more, the crem. was spacious and pub do for my uncle was out in the garden with just the food and drink in an open sided shelter. And now the country's future is in the hands of rule breakers and liars who ignored the rules we wept to keep!
