Evening all, I’ve been off colour for a couple of months now but couldn’t put my finger on it…but I now think the sertiline I’ve been on for over ten years isnt working as well,
I thought for a while it was my asthma, but I’m certain it’s anxiety..I can manage it but it’s so uncomfortable…work is great, home life is great yet I feel edgy all the time…Ive got an appointment with the doctor on Monday but I want to see if I can get one tomorrow…hope you’re all well..
love to all… edgy Nige
Anyone else experienced this..( tablets not working as well)
I was on Propanolol for a few years then I was switched to Citalopram for even longer. When my anxiety got worse I saw a psychiatrist who switched me to Bupoprion as he found it helped some patients. It’s meant to be to help with nicotine addiction so it’s an “off license” prescription. Having been on antidepressants for years I am sure Bupropion helped me. I was on it for a few months and I now manage my anxiety without medication.
Given I’ve had to cope with a heart issue, breast cancer and a Forestier’s disease diagnosis in the same 6 month window, I’ve not had to go back to anxiety medication even though now I’m on Tamoxifen I’m feeling anxious again but coping.
