Hi everyone, you probably won't remember but I came on here about a year ago asking for advice as I was trying to decide which type of operation to have for my bladder cancer. I decided to go with the stoma and I'm happy to say that almost a year on (the operation was last new year's eve) I am doing fine and my scans are looking good. The reason I didn't come on here earlier to say thank you to you all for your support and great advice was because I had a niggly complication in my recovery when a mystery item appeared in my kidney in my first post-op scan. After lots more tests and scans over several months and coming within minutes of being poked with a very large and scary needle for a biopsy, the doctors decided to hold off and thankfully they did as it turned out to be just some disturbed tissue from the operation which is taking a while to settle back down but they are not worried about it now. So that is a long-winded way of me saying sorry for not giving an update sooner, and to thank you all again for all your help which was invaluable to me. I hope you are all doing well and wish you all a healthy, happy and safe Christmas and new year. You guys are all amazing. Thank you. Roger.x
. Hi Roger. Really nice to hear from you again. Great to know you are doing well, albeit with a few early niggles. Wishing you and yours a happy Christmas and a happy and healthy 2022 and beyond. Best wishes.
