Hello Everyone
I had a telephone appointment with my Consultant today, a follow up from my Bladder/Prostate procedure in November. Good news they only discovered a superficial tumour in my urethra/bladder area. Histology says tumour has been removed and was non invasive and therefore no requirement for further radiotherapy. Rigid cystoscopy to be arranged in March 2022 then hopefully back to six monthly flexible cystoscopies.I am still experiencing stinging when I urinate. The consultant said because they invaded the urethra it would be uncomfortable for a while. He suggested Cranberry juice. Maybe useful to know!
Anyway nothing more sinister than superficial. Make for a more peaceful and relaxing Christmas and New Year.
Stay safe everyone. Garviv
