I can't reply to your posts. I phoned my chemo ward & they told me to speak to the pharmacist when im in next week.
I'm afraid that this forum & the lovely members has become impossible for me to use. I cannot ask anything any more. Both of us are fatigued, we are not eating properly.
Hi Coojee, so very sorry to hear of the issues the forum has put in your path. Hopefully it can son be sorted. And that you can get enough nourishment from easy food and snacks for now. I find oats very comforting when I'm struggling, I got some fine oatmeal and make a spoonful up with milk as drinking consistency porridge. Also excellent to help sleep in my experience. I sometimes add drinking chocolate or bits of chocolate bar for a sugar fix. Before I got the fine oatmeal I would grind porridge oats in my coffee grinder.
With warm thoughts, Denby
I heard on Radio 4 only this week that dark chocolate is positively good for you. Be kind to your selves, you are living through a tough time. Maybe seek some distraction from mindless tv or beautiful music? Dive into a book? Today a buzzard came and sat above me in a tree, lifted my heart. We're here for you. xxx
We live in the Highlands. The most wonderful birds soar over our house every morning. The Red kite. They are so beautiful they give me tears.
