Hi, I,m new here, diagnosed with Grade 3 T1 bladder cancer last June, had 6 weeks of BCG treatment , had biopsies taken in December but bad news was it had come back, had choice of more BCG or bladder removed, which I,m having done on the 26th February, bit nervous but I am staying positive, just wondered if someone could
give me reassurance I am doing the right thing , thank you.
Sorry not been on for while, 8 weeks since my op, I feel so much better since I was last on, saw consultant last week, good news, biopsies show everything clear in what they removed, bladder showed cancer cells, but I already knew that when it reacurred at Xmas after BCG treatment this is why l chose RC, so no further treatment, have a routine scan in 6 months time, upper and lower body, hopefully if ok then just yearly check up, felt so happy when I came out of hospital, positive news at last, got used to my stoma now so hopefully things on the up, also consultant says I can go back to work next week, I only do part time, looking after special needs children on mini bus, looking forward to go back, my best wishes to everyone else on this site, take care margben
