Hello everyone,

  • Got my Vit D yesterday as well, not got the covid vaccine yet as only 74 lol but husband received a letter to apply for his, I was told if you wait for the GP to get in touch it’ll be done locally and as ours is only 3 minutes away decided to wait a little while and see. Good luck all xx

  • Hi All I am based in London got my COVID vaccine on Thursday I am 61 so got it under the extremely vulnerable category. Was carried out in local  club all very well organised have got appointment for second jab in April. Hope you all get invites soon. Was a bit tired day after but no other side effects. Best wishes all.

  • I actually got 2 invites. Got a text from GP and booked a local slot. The next day I got the NHS letter asking me to book online, which would have been several miles away, so glad the GP got in first. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

Had mine last night. Very efficient. Only took 15 mins, and 10 of those were the obligatory wait afterwards because I was driving.

  • Hi group-mates, my vitamin D tabs arrived over the weekend. I am duly swallowing. My COVID vaccination booked for next Wednesday at Barnstaple Leisure Centre which is 20 miles from here. I am hoping we don't get snowed in before then. Also slightly dispiriting this morning to hear on news that the Oxford/Astrozenica vaccine may not cover S. African variant. The spokesperson for the vaccine makers wanted to reassure us the vaccine could be altered to cover all know variants by the autumn. Ho hum. Love to all. x

Hi H, good to hear that you are having your vaccine next week but a pity you have to travel so far. I had the Pfizer vaccine on 2nd January last month because I volunteer at our local hospice but still got a letter last week from NHS England asking me to book my first vaccination. This was in addition to a text and phone call from my GP last month who hadn’t been informed I’d had the jab.
The cricket club around the corner is being used as a vaccination centre so very convenient for my next jab!.

Best wishes to all Luce x

  • I got my vaccine last Monday, it was the Oxford one so now I’m thinking maybe back to square one but guess we have to have faith in Van-Tam and the rest of the team. Best of it is I haven’t got a return appointment. Anyhow keep safe and good luck H for tomorrow xx
