Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
I wrote a reply and it vanished.Yes it’s sad how the garden looks now.The work inside appears to be cosmetic though and they have had new windows put in.It would be one to view if available and in budget as it has huge potential. There are a couple of other houses in the next street that look interesting. My sister Sarah is away next week but is keen for us to start viewing when she gets back.My aunt will visit soon but she is not coming down this weekend.I told her I was too tired and she understood.Love Jane xx
I expect it will be out of budget but it’s been reduced and I would like to look at it.I was supposed to view it but had to cancel because my sister was ill.I can see myself living in that one though and I could put my own stamp on it.I’m not sure whether it would be practical for my partner but I will be able to tell if I look in person. He is the main reason I am staying in the area as my sister plans to move away probably to Scotland.I will have to find some kind of employment too.It is all a great concern at the moment.I thought after 3 years of living in limbo it would be easier to cope with but it’s got more stressful lately.I’m fairly confident that the situation will change for the better soon.Jane x
Oh Jane I am so sorry to hear you are feeling very down. I wish there was something I and all on here could do to help lift your spirits. You are so caring of others and offer support constantly. Its understandable that you are feeling down, you have been through so much . I know you miss your mum , and having to get the house sorted and all the stress that goes with buying and selling. Its a huge task for anyone to take on by themselves. So many major changes in your life. I wish you love and strength to get get through this down patch Jane . Keep sharing your feelings and let us give back to you xx
Much love Angela x
Thanks so much Angela,Your message means a lot.I have to keep hoping that things will improve.I’m usually tough mentally but it’s the combination of several factors that have got me down.I went round to help my next door neighbour yesterday and she started on about foreigners and people on benefits. That made me feel even worse. No doubt she would send my friend next door back to Poland if she had her way.At least our dreaded month March is over and the weather is lovely.I’m tidying at the end of the garden now.Love Jane xx
Dear Jane, let me offer you there will be light at the end of the tunnel, one day......
Last week Mr D's sister's house sold at last, a huge weight off me and our busy NHS dentist daughter -we ended up unavoidably taking on the estate administration as the Executors both resigned after SIL died. I'm not even a beneficiary and there will be very little for those who are, after settlement of equity release that had run up on compound interest for twenty years, care fees to the council albeit they reduced them, charity bequest and legal fees. The estate solicitor is very pleased about the house sale. You WILL get there Jane!
