Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Hi,As it was raining I spent yesterday sorting in the room of doom utility/junk room.Back in here today as my sister is supposed to be coming over tomorrow to help dispose of some items.I won’t be keeping much.I have already recycled the majority of items. Some workmen had all the wood before mum died. She kept everything which has made it hard work but this room is half empty now.At one stage you could hardly move in here.Wishing you all a good weekend whatever you are doing.Love Jane xx
Hello Jane, sunshine and light cloud here today. We are child minding tonight looking after two grandchildren and a crazy springer spaniel. Daughter and hubby going to Lytham St Anne’s for a meal and drinks.Taking SIL and BIL out tomorrow to a Nepalese restaurant and on to a mini brewery for drinks. Only place round here I can get a pint of London Black. She is still waiting for results of her brain scan re memory problems. Looks like you still have lots to do! Enjoy your weekend. Garviv

Hi Garviv,You are having a busy time too,I hope you all enjoy your meals and drinks.I’m very pleased with progress as have got rid of lots and soon there will only be the stuff I’m keeping in here.Mum was terrible for hanging onto everything. She had so many tiny bags full of odds and ends.Periodically I would look in a bag, scream quietly and leave it.But now I have gone through everything. It’s gets overwhelming if you try to tackle too much at once but luckily I am quite organised.I can see why mum made me executor. My sister would never have mentally coped with it all and I have struggled at times.Better find some lunch and get warm it’s freezing in here.Love Jane x
Hi Garviv,That is good news about your sister in law.My sister came over yesterday and we took items to the tip. They recycle a high volume of items there so I don’t feel too guilty for going. My room of doom utility room is looking much emptier as a result.Love Jane x
Hi,The boiler has been serviced and a new fan fitted and it’s passed inspection.I hope it will be ok now.The plumber noticed how much better the room of doom was looking.I feel so tired I think I’ll try and persuade my aunt to visit another time. She wanted to come down this weekend. It’s cold today so I’m glad to have the heating back.Love to all Jane xx
Hi Jane, how disappointing that it's turned cold for you. It's much warmer here today and the farmers are glad to be able to turn out their ewes and lambs into the field where they do better than enclosed in barns. I look forward to watching the lamb races across the field opposite my front window. Animals are so sensible, the ewes take it in turns to watch the group of galloping babies while the other mothers graze. Put the heating one, make yourself a nice cuppa and get your feet up for today maybe? Love Hx
you paint a lovely picture of the lambs and farm life hero.
Much love Angela x
