Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.

  • I do struggle to get out of it though! Ha ha

  • Hi Clare,Very smart, your new cottage looks lovely.I have seen a nice modern house online I might look at.It has one large lounge and a conservatory. It also has a garden which would be easy to maintain.I’m more hopeful of finding a place now as things are coming onto the market that look interesting.I need to mow here but I’m finding the humidity a bit much.X

  • To be honest Jane, the grass is very dry and I've exhausted myself doing it. But it's done now.

Have u been to view any houses yet? When we moved last year I looked at this one without jon and it just felt right immediately. Even though it was being renovated and was just a shell.

The garden has taken some work because it was just mud, but we now have lawns and I'm surprised how quickly the flower beds have established. Don't know why I didn't move sooner.....ha ha. At least I don't have any trouble with that horrid neighbour shouting at me everytime I leave my house or sit in my garden.

Have a fab day.....I'm going to sit in the garden and start a new jigsaw. I might even take jon out for a carvery later. Grinning

  • Hi Clare,I haven’t looked at anything yet mainly because I have been so busy getting the house ready to put on the market.I do need to start though.John says he will take me and my sister Sarah will help too.We looked at a several places before we moved here.I think you know when it feels right and can imagine living there.Have a good day x

  • Hello Clare, you put me in mind of the time we took our two grandsons (who are a lot older now) to Broadstairs beach. I was already suffering from a bad back but stupidly hired two deckchairs. Of course it was lovely flopping into it but talk about struggle to get out. Don't think I've hired one since.

  • I had to ask jon to help me out of it yesterday, he laughed and said if I sit in it during the week when he's not here I'll be stuck there with my dodgy bladder for hours unless I tip myself and the chair sideways!!

We recently spent weekend at a haven site with the grandchildren and my grandson insisted I ride the waterchute with him on a big inflatable. It was fine until I got to the bottom and couldn't not get out of the inflatable! Ha ha. Had to wait for jon to come down behind me to pull me out. Needless to say I didn't dare go down it twice!
