Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
It is a lovely sunny day.I don’t seem able to move since I sat down for a cup of tea.I’m so tired but have crossed a few things off the to do list.I wish I had the pre cystectomy stamina.I have to keep stopping for rests inbetween tasks these days.
The measurements and photos have been taken of the house so in a few days it will be on the market. The estate agents have been so pleasant and nice to deal with so I have confidence. It is all getting a bit too real now and it’s odd to think about not living here.My sister says she will help me move when the time comes.Love to all Jane xx
Have you spotted anything you fancy for yourself Jane?
Hi H,Yes several places of interest have come up but I don’t know how much money I will have until the house sells. There is small cottage that was an old Wesleyan chapel and it has a nice garden. It’s been on the market for several months. There is a house that I like going in a village not far away and a couple of other places that might be worth looking at.I would prefer an older property but am prepared to go modern providing I can get to a shop easily.I can’t walk miles anymore as the arthritis is too painful and I start limping.I may have to get a flat.I wish everything wasn’t so uncertain but at least things are moving forward at last. The house is easier to keep clean now that it is emptier and that is better.Love Jane xx
Hi,My uncle is still in hospital but not quite as delirious as he was.The staff want to get him up and walking soon. The house should be on the market very shortly.I have a form to complete but have only just started it.Gradually working through the long to do list.Have had to rest up a bit due to nausea. It is frustrating as I need to mow the lawns at least. The research is coming along well perhaps I will have more time for it when I move.Feeding next doors cat next week and praying he doesn’t get into any fights. He is semi feral. His owner very kindly said I could use her garden bin while she is away.Today I heard a huge crash and another neighbour had reversed into the bin and ruined it.Her car was damaged but luckily no one was injured.Love to all Jane xxxx
Is the urology phone appt a routine check Jane?
Hi H,As far as I know it is routine but the CNS said she had spoken to someone in appts as the hospital cancelled the phone call I should have had in July.
My hospital are ready on the ball. Last time my cystoscopy was due appointments called a week before I had it noted in my diary. Well done your CNS, there are review systems because they are effective. x
That’s good.My local hospital is not as good as it used to be.The estate agent has done a good job with the photos and details.Feeling quite emotional looking at those plus the donation form from the archivist re mum’s papers.
