Good Morning All, it's been 3 years since I posted on here, but my thoughts are always with this wonderful community.
I've recently had the annual telephone 'check in' with my Consultant, he has now arranged for me to have bloods and a CT scan next year... In his words 'to celebrate your 10 year anniversary'. It made me think of all the people I've encountered through those years because of the cancer, and of course, you guys on here.
I was diagnosed with G3 T3b bladder cancer in 2016, nasty and aggressive disease but hey ho everyone, Im here to tell the tale. God willing I'll pop on here next year with ALL CLEAR results!
Wishing everyone all the best in their own personal journey, stay positive.
Love and hugs xx
Hi Tay62, fantastic to hear your all clear status has lasted 9 years and I send you my best wishes for another healthy year so you can celebrate your 10th anniversary. I'm a year behind you and I'm definitely hoping to emulate your success. Love Hxx
Hi Tay62 .Really positive news and great to hear. Gives hope to others. Best wishes.
It's so good to hear such wonderful success stories like this, so pleased for you!
For those of us still going through treatment, or just about to embark on the journey (I'm due to start BCG doses 18, 19 & 21 next month), it really is uplifting to hear from people who are doing so well after such a long time post treatment, so thank you to you & everyone else who updates the forum for giving us hope & good news stories to spur us on.
Best wishes to you.
That's great news! Congratulations. Give me hope for my husband. He has aggressive non muscle invasive bladder cancer and has had failed BCG and a 6 week run of intravescial chemo wash treatment .. but they found a red patch in last cystoscopy so not sure what they will do now after yet another TURBT to do biopsies. I know they are keen for him to go for the bladder removal. Can I ask what treatment you had over the years? Happy for you.
I hope the cystoscopy shows it's a patch of cystitis irritation Nat14 & nothing else.
I've been having BCG for 2 years & had a red patch they thought was recurrence of tumour a few doses ago, but thankfully it turned out to be patch caused by cystitis irritation after biopsy. I believe that chemo in the bladder can do the same. Fingers crossed & all best wishes to him & you.
Thats Great! I'm new and newly diagnosed. The cancer Center tried to put me through a whirlwind of surgeons and surgery and I had to make it all stop. Cancelled All my appointments and finally got them to listen to my needs before they cut me open. May God bless All!
