Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.

  • Hi H,It would be lovely to be settled by Christmas.I have to hope that the house sells and I can find somewhere suitable.Everything is uncertain at the moment but I am making progress with the house clearance. My neighbour’s is up for sale again. The previous sale failed when they couldn’t find anywhere detached for themselves.Their house is in much better condition than mine.I shall miss the view from the balcony here that is a good selling point. It will make a lovely family house for someone with a bit of money for repairs.Xx

  • Phew, have been mowing all afternoon and only got first half of garden done.I don’t have the stamina these days.

  • Thanks for the hugs.I’m exhausted so will have to leave the rest of the mowing for another day.

  • It’s nice to have something pretty coming over from my next door neighbours side,it makes a change from huge brambles.Love Jane

  • Taking it easy today. Mammoth trip to London over Monday and Tuesday. Bloods at one hospital on Monday and scan at Barts yesterday. Apparently Barts Trust now do appointments for blood tests, but didn't think to inform their existing patients. Fortunately, I managed to get a booking at Whipps Cross (slots at all the other hospitals were full). However, despite the inconvenience everything went like clock work and as usual, I was treated impeccably. Scan results in two weeks, but mot overly concerned. What will be will be.

  • Good luck tomorrow Garviv. I'm guessing you feel pretty relaxed about it now you're past the first dose. Hope the holding period proves easy. Definitely treat yourself to something sweet and delicious or a favourite bit of tele once you are back home again. Hx

  • Fingers crossed for you Ianw. Keep us posted on your results. At least next time you'll get everything done at the same hospital. Hx
