Thanks Denby, I don’t really know how it’s going, we live in Norfolk, she’s at a drama school in London, mum (daughter in law) has gone down to be with her, dad (our son) is in Rome on a business trip, we are co grand parenting with other grandparent the younger grandson, she also has tested positive for covid, due to start a part time job next week and has as at the end of her drama studies an agent showcase next week, quite full on really and not a good time to be ill,  but then is there ever a good time! Just got a message from daughter in law that granddaughter is now going down, why did I think it would never happen at this time of night! x

My your family has it's hands full atm. I have said a prayer for successful surgery. Our grandson , looks like he will be the only, is nearly seven. You worry whatever the age I think.

It does seem a bit full on at the moment but the good thing is that whatever the problems are we all help each other, the family have been brilliant with helping and caring through my husbands bladder cancer ups snd downs.

We have got 5 grandchildren from 10 to 21, we’ve been lucky to have been an active help in all their lives, still have the youngest 3 regularly when parents are at work, it can get a bit full on sometimes but it’s lovely to be part of their lives.xx

Hooray I can get half the money back for the balcony repairs.That will be a help.

I hope you are all keeping warm ? No snow here today but heavy falls nearby.Sorting through my old photograph collection today as most will have to be sold.It’s emotional having to part with them after so long,I have enjoyed dating and identifying the people and places.Love to all Jane xxx
