Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
I had my urology phone appt today which was a complete waste of time.I’ve waited 17 months and I didn’t even get to speak to someone who knows me.I was asked 2 bladder related questions but wasn’t given any chance to ask questions or voice concerns.I’m having another scan shortly and if that’s ok will be moved onto yearly scans. It’s monsoon weather here.I’ve had the first antibiotic and am going to do some vacuuming. My aunt is supposed to be coming down tomorrow. She has booked a room at a pub in town to save putting me to extra trouble.Love to you all Jane xx
Hooray, highway maintenance are removing the traffic cones so normal parking can resume. That will make it easier for loading my aunt’s car as she is planning to take some family items back with her.The roadworks have caused so much disruption and noise.Having to take a little break in between cleaning as I’m still puffed out.x
The sun is out and my aunt should be here by lunchtime.I’ve been busy cleaning and tidying but have run out of energy now.I wish I felt better.Being treated for a chest infection but I’m not convinced that’s what it is.I’ll be having a scan soon so perhaps that will provide some answers.Love to you all Jane xx
Hi Jane, good your aunt is coming to help you with the on-going work of house clearing. Thoughtful of her not to expect you to accommodate, It can be exhausting providing B+B plus meals for guests. Living in a deeply rural place when folk come visiting me, it's generally an overnight or two's stay. Chest infections can totally wipe you out, as do some antibiotics. You've had so many huge events to deal with over past few years, it's not surprising if your immune system is letting you down. Your energy is quite reasonably sapped after everything you've been through. Glad the scan is planned, maybe that can provide some reassurance. Same old advice...one day at a time, be kind to yourself, CAKE! love H x
Thanks H,Aunt arrived safely and has kindly offered to take me grocery shopping.I had intended to walk down for some bits but have run out of steam.Xx
My aunt has just left for home.We did get quite a bit recycled to various places.I felt better yesterday but am puffed out again today.I listed and packed up 100 of mum’s books yesterday so the lounge shelves are emptier.I hope you all have a nice weekend.Love Jane xx
