Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.

I’m currently struggling with the grief of mother in law Hearts️ it’s a horrible road to travel! I go back to work tomorrow for first time in 4 weeks! 4:45am wake up! X

  • Hi Maw86,I’m sorry for your loss,it is horrible. My mum and I were very close so her death has left a big hole.I’ll be glad when I have finished going through all her things as it’s been long and difficult.I expect I’ll feel differently once I move out of our house. That’s an early start for work for you. It’s been years since I had to get up that early.I’m more of an owl than a lark these days.Love Jane xx

  • Feeling a bit better emotionally today, think the Queen’s death made me think of mum and how much she would have been moved by it.Also missed our cats as they would be fixated by the tv on Royal occasions. It was strange to see that as the only other programmes they watched were wildlife documentaries and snooker.Clearing all the antique boxes of the bits and pieces mum kept in them and have put these in a separate box.Fingers crossed I can get everything sorted by Saturday morning when the auctioneer is due.I’ve found another auction house that looks a better bet for some of my own items. The countryside is looking a little better for all the rain over the last few days.Love to you all Jane xx

Good to see your feeling a little better! It is such a shame about the queen..and poor family having to mourn her publicly ..it’s hard to sort through loved ones things ..is that where you live ..in the country side? X

  • Hi Maw86,I’m in a small town but surrounded by countryside so it feels quite rural. There are some nice beauty spots not far away.I csn’t drive but there are shops within easy walking distance.I have a lovely panoramic view from home.I shall miss that when I move.No idea where I will end up living so that is a worry. How are you feeling since the cystoscopy ? Love Jane xx

I live behind some woods so we have some nice nature around us.when are you having to move? I’m calmer now ..I’m unsure if I need an ultrasound or if what ever was there (inflammation/fold) is fine and not possibly there any more .. I’m such a worrier!x

  • I expect you will find out more once the cystoscopy is reported on.I’m not sure when I will be moving.I live in the house that my mum, sister and I moved into back in 1998.We stayed together to save money and get into a better financial state. After a few years I planned to move out but mum had a brain haemorrhage.I stayed to look after her. That was back in 2004.My sister moved out years ago and mum spent her last year in a nursing home due to severe dementia. Now the house has to be sold so that my sister can have her share of the money. The estate agent thinks it will sell despite needing work.X

Aww that’s a shame though that you need move out :( although I imagine sometimes it’s hard looking around it with the memories ..my brother lived with my mom when she died (I live same street) the council gave him a year ..they said couldn’t stay there as was in moms name and was a 3 bed. We had to get rid of so much of her things ..I hope you manage to find somewhere xx

  • In some ways I’m looking forward to moving. This house and garden has got too much to manage and I don’t have any money for it’s upkeep. It must be nice to live near woods. There are fields around my house but they are gradually being built on.I’d like a smaller version of this house and garden really.Property prices are expensive in this area though.I will have to get rid of a lot of my own things as well as mum’s.Love Jane x
