I’m facing just my 6 th round this week, how many more should I be looking forward to ?

  • Hi Rob180, Welcome I have had 12 treatments so far was told I would get 27 in total over 3 years hope this helps. Lynn x

  • Hi Rob180,

I'm also booked for 27 instillations, should be starting my 16/17/18th very soon.

It does seem to differ though as I've heard some only do 18 or less, might be worth asking.

    Best of luck.

  • How are you Trevor ? is it today you are having ? scans . my memory is a bit foggy but I thought you and  were having tests . Hope all is ok x

    Much love Angela x

  • Hiya Angela,

All is well here thanks. Hope you are keeping well also.

My last biopsy was 10th Jan and I was supposed to be getting my results today. However they've changed something and the results are now shipped off to Manchester instead of the local Trust, so having to wait longer unfortunately.

Although consultant said he didn't see anything other than some inflammation again (blinking BCG).

Hopefully the oncology department will contact me soon as I just want to get the next batch of BCGs done asap lol

    Thanks again for asking.

How's your treatment's going? When is your next treatment due.

    Take care.

  • Ps I know what you mean about foggy brain lol....

  • Aw hi Trevor , what a nuisance having to wait longer. It sounds positive from the consultant though. Best of luck trevor.

I have another flexi on march 5th then all being well carry on bcg. I have to have another blood test in feb as my white cells are slightly raised , i am hoping that was the bcg or just one of the many gift covid keeps giving me!

keep us updated on your results Trevor , chat soon xx

    Much love Angela x

  • Yeah tis a pain having to wait a bit longer... I really want to start my BCG next week if possible. Got some plans in April and would prefer a longer gap as possible.

Although it's nice having a break, sometimes you just want to get on.

Sorry to hear about your white cells, but hope all is well.

    Take care.
