Evening all,
As I’m sure you all know I suffer with anxiety, but have noticed after this round of BCG the anxiety has increased 10 fold….
BCG 1-6 no problems, 7-9 and I’m getting very tired, no sleeping great and my anxiety has/had gone through the roof…
what I have found is that two days after the BCG, the anxiety gets bad for no reason and lasts a couple of days. Today I’ve woken up without a care in the world…
just a thought…
love to all
Nigel xx
Hi Nigel (and Merry Christmas )
I have found that my anxiety levels have increased the more BCG I have. I think it's because we are always just a few weeks away from the next check cystoscopy and are always waiting and hoping for clear scans, so the result is anxiety. I'm seriously considering retirement as I feel that I just need to focus on this course of treatment, keep other stress levels to a minimum and enjoy time with my family.
Love to you and Mrs Nigel. Ade xx️
Evening Ade, (Merry Christmas)
thanks for the reply, I’ve no idea what’s getting me anxious…it just hits me…I’m coping well at the moment…funny you talking about work, me and Mrs Nigel have talked about me taking time off during treatment…working hard now to save up the pennies so I can take the time off…
love to all Nigel xx
Hey Nigel, I think that is a great idea, then you can just focus on you while you're having treatment. Everyone has to deal with this diagnosis and treatment in their own unique way.

Evening Ade, im sitting here with my mug of Red Bush tea… very nice… yep I think that will work for me.. well I hope so… my sister who suffers with anxiety sent me a good book, stress free in 30 days by Charles Lindon… I’ve not read it all, but it’s very interesting… some great tips… she has been using it for years…I do try all the tips you guys have given me, but like you say, you have to find what works for you…today is a good day…
I hope your well and have had a good Christmas….
love to all

Hi Nigel, I've had a wonderful Christmas with my amazing family and lovely Pup, thank you
I might try to get a copy of that book, sounds like it has some good ideas for reducing anxiety. Today has been a good day for me too. We took the crazy Cocker for a lovely walk through the woods. She was very happy running through the undergrowth and getting snagged on brambles. Fresh air is always a great anxiety reducer.
Love Ade xx
