What a nuisance, but you're in the right place to have it sorted. Just as soon as they get your temperature down and let you home for  Christmas you can put it behind you and continue your recovery. Let's hope next year is a good one for us stoma kids!

@Hopefull786 Glad to say new stronger Xmas antibiotic combo appears to be doing the biz. Temperature down to normal for last 48 hours, just waiting for blood cultures, and possibly off home today, maybe. Leo

 Hopeful786  I am glad to say, that I have been released into the wild, and am currently reclining in my vintage Parker-Knnoll armchair, watching the latest Downtown Abbey. Very grateful to the NHS for sorting me out. On antibiotics for the next few days. And pretty pooped from the IV drugs used in hospital.
