I was doing pretty well on my post RC recovery. having passed tge 6 week mark. But POW now in hospital with a UTI. It never rains but it pours. Leo
@Hopefull786 Glad to say new stronger Xmas antibiotic combo appears to be doing the biz. Temperature down to normal for last 48 hours, just waiting for blood cultures, and possibly off home today, maybe. Leo
Hi Leo, great to hear that the antibiotics are finally working their magic. Fi gers crossed that you will soon be able to go home to Mrs Leo. Keep getting well ️
Love Ade xx
Hi Leo. Great to hear that you’re feeling better and your temperature has been normal. Hopefully home soon. ATB.
Hopeful786 I am glad to say, that I have been released into the wild, and am currently reclining in my vintage Parker-Knnoll armchair, watching the latest Downtown Abbey. Very grateful to the NHS for sorting me out. On antibiotics for the next few days. And pretty pooped from the IV drugs used in hospital.
Lovely fellow travellers, thank you for your quite wonderful support.
Happy Christmas to all, Leo
