Hello all you lovely people Heart️

Today I had BCG number 9, so first maintenance round finished - WOOHOO!! My lovely Nurse, Ann , is wonderful and has supported me and lovely Hubby amazingly.  I cried this morning once it was done. It is such a difficult journey that we are on and I thank God, and the NHS, that I can rely on seeing Ann at each appointment. I never imagined that I would be living this strange life of constant Hospital appointments and I have to admit that it is testing me. I'm having some counselling (through Bupa and Macmillan Cancer Support) and we have come to the conclusion that I struggle with loss of control of my life. Does anyone else feel like this?

I've got my PDD scan booked for 14th November under GA so if anything suspicious is seen biopsies can be taken during the procedure. Then onto maintenance round number 2 with BCG numbers 10, 11 and 12, then I'm halfway through the schedule. Trying very hard to stay in a positive mindset.

Sending love and positivity to everyone.

Love Ade Heart️  xx

  • oh thats awful , was it pain keeping you awake ?

    Much love Angela x

  • Yes it was pain in my back and shoulder. It may all be arthritis but want to make certain.xxxx

  • Hello Angela, pleased you’re feeling a little better. Yes we love the beach and sea breeze. Someone asked about a trip to see ancient relics. No thanks I see an ancient relic in my shaving mirror each morning. Buxton sounds good. I took 3 grandchildren to watch Southport ( same league) a couple of years ago. We sat in the main stand. I paid £11 the grandchildren were free. Good game to watch. Tonight is home made garlic and cumin flatbreads with a Garviv curry. No recipe just cook chicken and add spices Willy -Nilly. Sounds chaotic but it will be spicy and delicious. Enjoy the game tomorrow Angela I will be watching Preston away at Plymouth on I follow. PS curry sounds; a mellow John Martyn. His singing in the rain is truly wonderful. Garviv

  • As regard relics On holiday in Turkey a few years ago, we had a day trip to Ephesus, the site of the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. My wife looked around and said "What have you brought me here for ? It's just a load of old ruins". Doh.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • Hi Garviv , I didnt watch the PNE game , was the result a fair reflection 3-3 wasnt it ? Have you got a ticket to wednesdays big game ?

    Much love Angela x

  • Hello Angela, PNE should have been 5/6 up before they scored. Manager had a moment of madness putting Holmes on as right wing back( couldn’t tackle a hot dinner) we then proceeded to collapse. No leaders on the field! But 3-3 is another point. Rooney is a poor manager. Roll on Wednesday night Arteta will be quaking in his boots. Mmm. City won again I see. Garviv

  • oh dear , football is not good for the blood pressure at times Garviv. I agree about Rooney, being a good player doesn't transfer to being a good manager, its so much more complex than that. Trust me , we had stuart pearce  back in the day lol.

My lovely boys won yesterday but truly it was a slog of a game . Its quite frustrating to go against 11 in the box week on week, trying to find the spaces to walk it in haha. Its a joy to watch teams that show a bit of bottle and come at us, makes it more interesting as a fan . I should have gone to buxton , they won 7-1 !! Have a lovely day Garviv
