Surgeon told me I had a couple of nodules on my Prostate. Also said not to worry…. Appointment is next week..

anyone ever had these? they wasn’t there 6 months ago I know that…

love to all Nigel xx

  • Sorry Nigel, I can't offer any insight on your question.

I had an MRI at the beginning and the process wasn't too bad. Much better than when I had to have a brain MRI as I'm a bit claustrophobic.

    Hope it all goes well.

  • Hi Trevor, I had an MRI last week for my kidneys, got one next week on the prostate…

hopefully both are ok… how’s you mate?

  • Of course I forgot about your earlier MRI, apologies.

Fingers crossed for you on both counts. It's good they said not to worry but that's not as easy as it sounds.

All is well here thanks. Just had a bit of a break between treatment's with my next biopsy being on 11th October.

I'm kind of used to them now although last time I woke up with the tube still down my throat which freaked me out a little at first. Especially as I was still dozy etc.

But can't complain really. I think after the next two biopsies they'll be every 6 Months like my BCGs (all being well).

Take care and best of luck again

  • Cheers Trevor

hope it all continues to go well for you.

    Nigel xx

  • Hi Nigel, I hope you are not worrying because the appt is next week. Surgeon and nurse have said not to worry, and the positive part is that it is being done sooner and you dont have a long wait. What day next week ?

    Much love Angela x

  • Evening Angela, of course I was worrying…lol.  Wife has had a chat with me…I’m ok now…trust the process….i know they know what they are doing….its next Wednesday…. How did yesterday go?

    Nigel xx

  •   one step at a time my good man Nigel, wait for the results before you start worrying. Could be nothing or something that just needs surveillance. Atb Leo

  • Hi Leo, yeah I’m all good thank you. I’m always running before I can walk…the wife’s had a word with me…put me at ease… but thank you everyone….

  • aw we love Mrs Nigel she’s a keeper.

yesterday was ok, thats number 10 done . Today I just have fatigue and itchy watery eyes, but I know it will pass off by saturday, just in time for the footy.

I love this group, we are all here for each other, propping one another up when we have a wobble. I dont know how I would have got this far without the group. As much as Mr Halofan is trying to be supportive and there for everything, I dont think you can understand how a cancer diagnosis affects you unless you have had one tbh.

    Much love Angela x

  • Hang in there Nigel wishing you all the best for next week.Lynn
