I’ve had 2 cystoscopys, one in March when my TA grade 2(low) was discovered and my 3 monthly camera where I had to have another TURBT which was clear, however…..although this time round I’ve had hardly any blood ( 1st TURBT I had lots for the 3 months) I have got a lot of microscopic blood.
has anyone had continued blood on dipsticks without finding another cancer ? Can this microscopic blood just be somthing I’ll always have now ??
Hi lillydoor,If you have red areas in the bladder these can bleed and cause microscopic blood. You can also get it with urinary infections so it’s not always cancer related.Do you have an urology nurse ? You could always mention it to your urology team if you are worried.
I had it most of the time with Interstitial cystitis.Best wishes Jane
