1st cystoscopy since turbt and mitomycin treatment

Hi Bicyclegirl, wishing you the very best of luck. These times are always high anxiety. I had one dose of mitomycin at my first turbt . Went on to have the BCG due to T1G3 with CIS. It has done its job so far thankfully. Fingers crossed for you, sending you a wrap around hug

Hi all, so a very small patch ~2mm ( original tumour about 4cm) looks to be the same "superficial" type. The nurse said she wished she could just blast it there and then but my hospital don't do that yet.  So back for TURBT in about a month. She did mention quite a few diverticulum but didn't seem at all concerned by them. I wonder if they were the result of the large area removed at the 1st TURBT ?

Hi Bicyclegirl . Not what you hoped for, but not too bad in the great scheme of things. I have had a few similar things which turned out to be nothing. Just consider it as a setback and hopefully will be cleared next time. Best wishes.

I expected it tbh, it's a very small patch and I guess it's  pretty common that this happens 

Yes sadly It is common with bladder cancer and non cancerous patches.I was always having patches zapped when I had Interstitial cystitis.I hope it’s sorted soon.Jane xx
