Enlarged Prostate After BCG

I have experienced urethral burning including in the prostate after the BCG treatments which lasted for a number of days although it diminished. This may have inflamed the prostate temporarily.

Hi Leo1 . I don't think we have come across BCG causing enlargement of the prostate but as CDN says, it can have some adverse effects. When I was first diagnosed I was told I had an enlarged prostate but was told it was just an age thing. So far I have not had any problems with it. Best wishes.

Although I haven't had a BCG, I did have Mitomicin, and they couldn't get the catheter inserted due to an enlarged prostate, I ended up having my prostate 90% removed. (Why they didn't take it all i don't know. I had Prostate Cancer anyway). Hope you get over this soon.
