Hi, I started my second course of BCG last Thursday after completing the first round in April. The first round was fairly unremarkable; I experienced the normal side effects of frequency, urgency, lethargy etc.
This time it is completely different, and I am hoping someone may have experience with this. After the 2 hours, I had trouble urinating and even after drinking copious amounts of water, I was getting an urge to go frequently but was passing very little at a time. Friday was similar. On Saturday, I seemed to improve; however, when I took my jeans off in the evening, my legs and ankles were extremely swollen and they could have been like that all day, as there was no pain or unusual sensation in my limbs. The swelling has subsided overnight, but I am really worried as to whether this could prevent me from continuing with BCG treatment
I will mention this when I attend the hospital next Thursday, but was hoping in the meantime that someone may have had a similar experience.
