Hi All,

Well I'm lying here in hospital at 2:40 am cannot get to sleep. Had my second Turbt today and all seems to have went well, consultant says they got out remaining tumour so now the wait starts for results of biopsy, so I'm now going to sign off and attempt to sleep before 6am when they are coming to remove the catheter oh so much fun.

Hi Scott,

Good to hear that your TURBT went well. Hope you managed to get some sleep and rest.

I couldn't wait to get the catheter out, which seemed like the worst bit of the whole process.

Hope you get home soon where you can catch up with some zzz's.

Cheers Trevor as you can see it's 3:30 am still struggling to sleep. The first Turbt was easy no problems at all this one is very different. Had a wee dose of the shakes might have an infection, see how things are in morning.

Hi Scott, hope you had some kip. I asked for a shot of Oramorph around bedtime, for the pain yes, but it also helped me sleep. No pain feeling a bit drowsy, it worked. Not advocating it as a sleeping tablet, but for a very short stay if you have been written up for it, why not. Leo
