Hello all you good folk!
I had my second TURBT (re-section) today. All good, no passing out in the bathroom, very little pain and home this evening much to the relief of my lovely Hubby!
My surgeon said that the original surgery sites were still quite raw as the first TURBT was only 4 weeks ago. Biopsies taken from those sites and sent to Histology to check that it is definitely not in the muscle. Hopefully should start BCG therapy in 6-8 weeks. Now awaiting the Histology results and next MDT meeting.
I'm so glad to get today over and done. Hoping that my brain will be able to switch off so I can get some sleep.
