BCG Tiredness

I had an experience like that after my first BCG, turned out to be uti which was cleared with antibiotics over 1 week, then back to BCG.

Certainly not an expert, but the BCG treatment is draining. For me it's about 24 Hours, but mainly because of all the weeing, urgency and waking up during the night.

I did get flu like shivers one night. I did mention it to my nurse at the next session and was told that I should have phoned up to check for a UTI.

I personally think the whole process mentally and physically draining, so fatigue can be expected, but by the sounds of it (from my nurse) flu like symptoms can mean a UTI.

Cheers Trevor - thanks for the info. No protein in blood indicating infraction and no temperature. I think it’s my immune system knackering me!

It is a bit knackering for sure. I'm fortunate to work from home, not sure if I could handle the 90 commutes after the BCG for a while.

I can't imagine people going back to work the next day or so, but I guess people have different experiences.

I'm at 6 monthly intervals now, so glad for the break for sure. It does go by quickly thinking back ( doesn't at the time).
