Hi, Just need a bit of advice or reassurance, I had my Turbt 2 weeks past yesterday and the healing seemed to be going as per the hospitals instructions, but yesterday and more so today I'm definitely seeing blood in my urine, Is this normal I must admit I haven't drank as much water yesterday and today as I usually do so I'm back on it now. Maybe this is the scab coming off, any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks
Scott
Hi Scotvip . Fairly normal at this stage. As you say, the scab starts breaking away from the wound as part of the natural healing process. You may also see tiny clots. Really important to keep drinking plenty of water to keep the debris flushed out and to prevent blockages. As always, if bleeding is excessive then contact the medics.
