Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share the result from my latest Flexi-cystoscopy. My last two cysto's revealed small cancers that were lasered away (sounds a bit star trek) there and then. I was hoping this time i wouldn't have any cancer in there. The lady that performed the cystoscopy took her time and was very good at it. My bladder seemed to be inflamed and she didn't think i was emptying my bladder enough. She swung the camera round ..oofffff ..and pointed out that my prostate was slightly swollen. But no cancer this time. I feel lucky today. There was a little tissue hanging in my wee tube but she thought this was just skin tissue. She pointed out that a biopsy may be needed if the consultant/team want to be sure.
I share my news as so many others do hoping that it may help those worried or afraid. I'm ok. I am so grateful to this forum that allows us to share our experiences honestly and openly. I read other peoples posts too and i have such admiration for everyone travelling all the different roads on their personal cancer journeys.
Thanks for now...Del
Great news, I have only had one biopsy and one cystoscopy both being clear and the feeling is so wonderful it's hard to explain the relief. Well done to you and all best wishes for many more good results, always lovely to hear good news stories.
