Possibly last BCG treatment

Yesterday I had my 15th BCG treatment. The nurse discussed with me the national shortage of the BCG vaccine, that I new nothing about.She has suggested that this may have been the last treatment, but it would be down to the consultant

Today, I have extreme pain when passing urine, always some discomfort, but never like thi. Also increased frequency between 10 mins to 40. Has anyone else had this? I normally start to return to normal after 24 hours. Not today it seems. I’m taking a mixture of paracetamol and ibuprofen and it’s not touching it today.

any ideas anyone?

Only trying drinking lots of properly diluted Robinson's Lemon Barley Water. It might be more soothing than plain water. Hot water bottle?

Hope other have useful ideas.

Yeah, it’s full of sugar and I’m diabetic will try hot water bottle though. Just having some no added sugar apple and blackcurrant.

Good afternoon Jimmyma 2. Like you I’ve had 15 BCG . Clear at the cystoscopy in August and the nurse told me no more BCG for 12 months with 3 monthly checks. No mention of any shortage of BCG. Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry about that. It was a GP recommendation years ago but I don't have diabetes and obvs weren't aware you had. Hope your squash and hot water bottle help.
