My app for Sunday is creeping up and I’m finding myself unable to sleep! All o hear from friends and family is you’ll be fine ..they don’t know that! None of them seem to taking all this seriously :( I’m absolutely dreading Sunday!
I suspect that your nearest & dearest are also concerned, but trying to make you feel better. It's natural for people to be reassuring, especially if they can see you getting wound up - possibly out of all proportion. Sometimes when you are worrying about something like this, it's worth stopping to think, what's the worst that can happen? Can you do anything about it?
We're all familiar with worry & waiting. Worry won't change anything except make yourself feel worse. Is that worth it? Easy to say, but you need to put the worry aside - maybe imagine it's happening to someone else. What would you say to help someone in your position?
The best thing you can do at the moment is concentrate on keeping fit & healthy. But keep venting here if that helps.
