I was diagnosed with grade 3, noninvasive bladder cancer in January

Have had 2 Turbt and last week started BCG treatment

Have felt pretty rough since. I am concerned that my temperature had been low since.- normally 36.2 but now varying from 33.4 to 35.6.

Have contacted the doctor and am monitoring it three times a day.

Has anybody else had this?

Hi jenlids and welcome to the group. I've no personal experience of BCG, so not the best person to help, but I have read many similar posts to yours as BCG can cause varying side effects. Keep in contact with your medics. Have you been allocated a CNS? I am sure someone will be along with some advice. Best wishes.

I have a nurse specialist and contacted her but she said it's not a known side effect. The doc thinks it could be the result of the body trying to deal with the BCG and forgetting other important things lol Thank you for your reply :)

Hi , hope you are feeling better . I have just finished BCG treatment # 9 and have not had any noticeable side effects . As funny as it sounds I got used to it . Its all a bit confusing and a bit scary at the beginning but you will soon get used to the trips to the hospital etc. Hope you feel better soon . Dave .
