Pleased to report that I had a call from Southmead, Bristol today. My 3 month delayed, 4th annual post RC review will be booked in by 29 March. Off for bloods on Monday then chest x-ray and ultrasound scan in a few weeks.
This is the first year I'm not suffering from scanxiety so conclude it must have been caused by the threat of the cannula in the wrist for the CT scan dye. No more CTs for me, consultant says I've had enough to last a lifetime

Hope everything goes well. My consults have continued and have been done over the phone. Still having 6 monthly high contrast CT scans and there have been no interruptions. I must say I no longer worry about the scans in the way I did, don't know why? I don't worry about the cannula. I've had so many jabs etc over the years I'm thinking of hiring myself out as a pin cushion or sieve.
