Does anyone know what the difference is between social distancing and comprehensive social distancing? Most hospitals seem to require comprehensive social distancing before procedures but I can't find out what this means exactly. Anyone any ideas?

I think that's what my hospital calls self isolation where they want the complete household to go into shielding/self-isolation. If somebody in the household has to go out then they must wear a mask at all times.
We had to do it for my BCG and last week for a week running up to my rigid.
Don't take what I wrote as gospel. That is just my hospitals take on pre treatment isolation. Yours may be different. You are best calling and finding out what they actually mean.
This is what I was sent for my rigid earlier this week
This is what I picked up from a search:
Given that we are still essentially in lockdown, it's mostly what we are all doing anyway.
Thanks, Teasswill for that. k have printed it. As Mugwump writes, it is basically what we have been doing from the beginning.
I've just remembered before my Covid test for my flexi at the Nuffield (on the NHS I should say), I was told not to go out at all until the op.; only comprehensive self distancing for the NHS one.
