Late September 2020 and I noticed blood in my pee. I rang 111 who talked through what to and reported to my GP.. visited Local go practise and talked to nurse who referred me to the local hospital and stressed that if I had no appointment in 2 weeks to chase them up.
Hospital on 7 October for Cystoscopy but abandoned because of infection. My next cystoscopy was abandoned because of high temperature and eventually the procedure was carried out on 12 November when a lesion was identified. TURBT was carried out on 30 November . A second look TURBT was done on 11 January and regrowth the was removed and biopsy taken.
I am now waiting to start BCG on 22 February.
Good morning Hou or can I call you Housewife. Thanks for your comments. We seem to be going down a similar path and I am sure it will be the right one. Although I approach these procedures with a feeling of anxiety I know that I’m not the first and won’t be the last to experience this. I’m in capable hands and I have no symptoms to identify that a problem exists. Let’s see how we get on , best wishes.
I wanted my name to be housewife but somehow it came up as hou lol it's terrible... I'm coming along good after turbt been out walking and doing normal stuff ..thankfully haven't had a problem ..as you say we'll take one day at a time ...Im not going to let this take over my life it's an uninvited visitor that hopefully will be removed without causing too much resistance take care
