I'm sorry if this is not relevant here so please delete if so. I'm 2 1/2 years out of treatment and doing good, blood counts finally getting in the normal range. I'd nearly stopped having the urgent bowel stuff but instead have been having attacks of diverticulitis. My Colorectal Surgeon agreed that my treatment probably worsened my diverticulosis by so long with an overactive colon. I would love to hear from others with their experience with this or perhaps it is unrelated.
