I know I'm only in week 2 of treatment, but am still passing a bit of blood. I thought the consultant said the bleeding would stop quite quickly, so am panicking that it's not working.
Has anyone still experienced bleeding throughout treatment?

Hi Deb,
Yes I had bleeding during treatment. Nothing heavy but I regularly saw blood on the toilet roll when I went to the loo. In fact all sorts of things can come out of your back passage during and after treatment. Liquid/discharge of varying colours, mucus, blood not pleasant I know but pretty normal. Any changes you notice though discuss or query them with your oncologist or nurse.
The treatment is building up slowly in your system. It is not at its full strength yet and probably won’t be until treatment finishes. The treatment will be working Deb however, it’s more likely that your tumor will melt away at some point in the 12 week period between your treatment ending and your post treatment scans.
Nearly at the end of week 2 already! not long before you’ll be half way through.
