Hello MummaBearb8d2d7
This is so useful (and interesting too) about the Flamigel RT. I was only given Flaminal Forte (a cream for exuding sores) much further on. So it is heartening to know that research is continuing and the findings shared (one would hope) amongst other radiotherapy departments. I would keep slapping it on!
And yes, water wipes are the way to go.
Thank you for a very useful update, and I hope the rest of your treatment goes well.

Hello Mummabearb8d2d7,
So glad that things are on a more even keel for you as you go into week 3.
That’s a really interesting tip about the FlamigelRT being used preventatively and that there has been research.
I was given it at the end of treatment when everything was pretty raw and sore. Hopefully your advice will help others who are early in their treatment journey.
Hoping all goes well for you for the rest of your treatment.
xx
Thanks for the update & information MummaBearb8d2d7 , it’s good to know that remedies for the side effects of treatments are being researched as well as treatments themselves & I'm really pleased to hear you’re over your wobble & feeling a little better about things. I found the water wipes the way to go too. Keep going, not far to go now.
Nicola
