My wife was diagnosed with AML last Wednesday. Doc sent her for blood tests last Wednesday as she had unexplained bruises. Ended up in hospital that night. Biopsy on Thursday confirm AML. Advised that Chemo would be a waste of time. So just getting transfusion and antibiotics. Consultant gave her just a few weeks possibly a couple of months. Just cannot believe this she was fit and healthy. I I’m struggling to cope
