Hi everyone - my usual insurance will not cover me for anything cancer related until 12 months after any surveillance etc is over. I am just coming to the end of chemo for bowel cancer so I’m just wondering whether anyone has gone on holiday just using insurance for general cover but not for anything cancer related. I know nothing sudden will reoccur in a two week period but my concern is what might be considered related to the cancer - for example a blockage or even if I get some stomach issues will they consider that related to the bowel cancer? I will contact the insurance and ask but I just wondered if anyone has had the same considerations. I obviously don’t want to risk not being properly covered. Thank you x
