Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has managed to get a decent quote for this.
My husband has metastatic melanoma which has been removed but is on immunotherapy for a year.
We booked a cruise for next year before his diagnosis His bank insurance won’t cover him.
Many thanks
Hi Language and a very warm welcome to the group which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
Unfortunately, it can be more difficult to get travel insurance when a cancer diagnosis is involved. Have you had chance to look through the 'recommended travel insurance' and 'recommended travel insurance 2023-24' threads yet as you'll find lots of suggestions for travel insurance there? If not, have a look through them and make a list before settling down to get quotes.
I do hope you can get insurance so that you continue with your planned cruise.
Hi, I had a melanoma removed from a lump in neck last year, no primary found. I’m on immunotherapy for a year. I won’t finish until September. I have a weeks holiday booked in June. I managed to get insurance with Insurancewith. It cost £72 for myself and husband. I also have a larger excess of £100 on claims over £500. I thought this was a very good price. They ask you lots of questions and I needed to ring to check I’d answered a couple of the questions correctly. If you prefer to speak to someone book a time online and they will ring you back. I read lots of reviews and they were nearly all positive.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
