I have secondary breast cancer in pelvic bones and am on Letrizole and Ribociclib with no other treatment planned at present . I am otherwise fit and healthy and am going to Paris for 3 nights in March. I need travel insurance . Has anyone a recommendation please?
Hi Snowshoe and a very warm welcome to the group which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
Unfortunately, it can be more difficult to get travel insurance when a cancer diagnosis is involved so have you had a chance to look through the 'recommended travel insurance' and 'recommended travel insurance 2023-24' threads yet? If not, you'll find lots of suggestions for travel insurance there.
After my breast cancer treatment had been completed I got insurance with goodtogoinsurance.com, although I didn't have secondaries.
Wishing you all the best
I have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in the brain, I couldn’t find anyone to insure me even though I’m stable , however I did finally get someone , world first insurance , bit of a hassle , and only a single trip , had to go to underwriters but I got it £900 . I took it and went to the Dominican . I’m in the process of getting an annual policy as I’m stable , but have to get confirmation from oncologist that I am incurable but treatable and not terminal . Very grey area for the wording . All Clear is the insurance company x
