I'm trying to find a company that will insure me for what will be my last trip to see my sister. I was diagnosed with mesothelioma 4 years ago. Immunotherapy stabilised it but now I have to start chemo soon. My consultant says yes, I've been past fit to fly but no-one will insure me. Any ideas please
Hi Joojoo and a very warm welcome to the group which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
Unfortunately, as have found, it can be more difficult to get travel insurance when a cancer diagnosis is involved.
Have you had chance to look through the 'recommended travel insurance' and 'recommended travel insurance 2023-24' threads yet as you'll find lots of suggestions for travel insurance there? If not, it's best to go through them and make a list before settling down to get quotes.
Let me know how you get on and I hope you can find some suitable cover so that you can go ahead and book your trip.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
